La Casa Del Tango

La Casa del Tango, in DIFC’s Dubai’s Gate Village, promises a whole host of South American hospitality where tasty Argentinian dishes are served up alongside breathtaking dance shows and an elegant fashion boutique selling a range of traditional Argentinian dresses as well as handmade shoes.

A menu of Argentinian dishes, created by head chef, Danilo Lekic, and a creative mixed drinks list are served up in the elegantly decorated restaurant, which features wooden tables, navy suede seats, red quilted booths, parquet flooring and hanging lamps.

Signature dishes include grilled Argentinian sausage, truffle scrambled eggs and steak with provolone and a lip-licking chimichurri sauce. Guests can find tasty-sounding plates like grilled provolone cheese, empanadas, chorizo, quinoa salad, carbonada (pumpkin and vegetable stew) and smoked cauliflower with mushrooms, walnuts, rocket and pine nuts.

Meat-lovers won’t be disappointed with the selection of steak on offer. The grill menu features a variety of steak including tenderloin, rib-eye, sirloin and skirt steak, as well as half chicken. The must-try dessert is the classic volcan de dulce de leche, which is a molten cake served with lavender cream.

Over the weekend guests can enjoy live music, performances by Tango Dance World Cup winners and Argentinian folk acts, all curated by the tango maestro himself, Enrique Macana. Also venue arranges private or group tango lessons.
